BWB shows its support for Smile!

Crewe-based BWB Windows Doors and Home Improvements has shown its support for Smile Group by joining its Raise a Smile programme as a corporate donor.

BWB is a FENSA approved installer specialising in Upvc and aluminium windows and doors working across Cheshire, Staffordshire and surrounding areas. With more than 25 years’ industry experience, the company prides itself on quality workmanship and first class customer service.

The partnership comes just as Smile Group has expanded into Crewe, operating a weekly peer support group drop-in service at the Oak Tree Family Hub, for local new and expectant parents experiencing perinatal mental health challenges.

Smile provides a blend of support across Cheshire East, including weekly peer support groups in Macclesfield, Congleton, Sandbach and Crewe, as well as 1-1 talk therapy, home visits and monthly family sessions.

BWB’s owner, Benjamin Warr-Barnes, said it was important to him to give back to a local cause: “Supporting a local charity is good for the local community and supports sustainability of vital services. Mental health is an important topic so, when I came across Ruth from Smile via our BNI network, it made sense to join the regular giving campaign.”

Ruth added: “Ben is a great guy and as BWB is a local business, we’re really grateful to create this partnership. It’s especially helpful to raise awareness of our new peer support group in Crewe so that families can benefit from the support we offer.”
