Coactive ICT gives back with a Smile

Tech experts at Holmes Chapel-based Coactive ICT are supporting local perinatal mental health charity, Smile Group, with a new business incentive to boost the charity’s fundraising.

Directors, Marc Halstead and Nathan Wright, met Smile’s co-founder Ruth Williams through a local BNI business network and were moved by the charity’s purpose to support families across Cheshire East affected by perinatal mental health challenges.

Coactive has launched a new business scheme which means that, for any new client signing up for business IT support paying more than £50 per month, they will donate £50 to Smile to support its sustainability.

Coactive provides IT support to businesses who don’t have their own in-house IT managers and they also provide business phone systems and broadband services. The business has been running for more than 10 years offering friendly, responsive support and reliable ICT services.

The partnership with Smile has arisen as perinatal mental health has personal resonance for the team at Coactive.

Commenting on the relationship, Nathan Wright said: “As a local business we care about our community and feel that giving back is important, especially to a cause that impacts so many lives.”

Ruth Williams added: “We’ve developed a really good working relationship with the team at Coactive and it’s brilliant to see that, as their business continues to grow, local families benefit too given their support of our charity.”

Smile Group provides a blend of services, including weekly peer support groups in Crewe, Sandbach, Congleton and Macclesfield, 1-1 talk therapy, home visits and monthly family sessions.
